yes I believe that women do get migraines more than women. I have been getting them on a regular basis and of course with sle I don't fool around, and not only is it the migraines but the change in my vision from taking all the meds is no joke, and it really makes me so angry that we have to live like this and suffer. I was in denial for so long, but, with so many different groups they seem to help some days. And some days I just fall right into a funk. I live in Bklyn, theres not much support here, and a lot of groups are in the city, but anyone who is from the tristate area know what the traffic is like during the rush hour which is when the groups are help. Anyway, I don't like to burden anyone with my sle issues, I just wanted to drop a line and say I did try botox and it seemed to work for awhile, I do have meds that I can take at night, another 3 pills to add to the many others, but, I am a warrior like the rest of you all.  Its Sunday, Iam getting ready to have breakfast with the beatles on the classic rock station.  LOL and then I start my journey for the day.  I find if I am up and out early it works better for me. The sun isn't that hot, and thank god my windows are tinted and god bless 120 sunblock sph.  Its been a really hard month for me and I just came off a three day flare but, that's neither here or anywhere, I am hurting, and I want to thank everyone who contributes to this page. And just want to wish everyone a happy and safe 4th of July.  I don't know what I would do with out the support via email.  Thanks so much ladies and gentlemen for letting me vent. Love to you all warriors.

You are not a burden.  That's what we're here for.

I used to get migraines before my hysterectomy and also on hormone replacement.  Now that that's done, no more migraines.  Those cause some really wicked pain.

Happy 4th to you!

Mary
