Last November I saw a rheumatologist at the U. of Washington rheumatology clinic, where they have docs who specialize in lupus. She was TERRIBLE--wouldn't read what my past rheum and derm had diagnosed, wouldn't listen to me. Decided--apparently out of thin air--that I didn't have SLE. Said my only symptoms were dermatological and my eyes. I said no and showed her the list of verified symptoms from my rheum.  She said, "But you're not having any of those TODAY, are you?"  She told me three times to tell my eye docs to put me on Humera, even though I told her each time they refused to do anything systemic because they're not lupus experts.

Karma: I got a form letter from her saying she was leaving UW for an arthritis clinic in Seattle. UW has an excellent reputation, and the arthritis clinic is definitely a big step down. She got terrible reviews on Yelp and another site. I'm pretty sure she got fired.

The Karma bus has arrived! At least no other lupus patients will have to deal with her.
