Its sad for someone so young to be diagnosed with Lupus, and it must be terrible for you.....but you know, we all felt like that at first, and it seemed as if we would never get through it. With the help of the people on this board who are here to help and support you , you will make it past that first huge shock, and be able to survive it. One good thing about being young is that you have a very good chance of being there when they finally find a cure for this illnes. For now keep your chin up....there is always someone here to support you whenever you feel the need.

That's interesting. I am confused as to why you were not prescribed Plaquenil with a lupus dx. What labs/symptoms led this doctor to a dx? And is this person a rheumatologist?

Lovealways, you can get all kinds of information on the ldn homepage, but believe me it is really helping me in about 8 weeks. I feel better than I have in 30 years, this not a farce, it really helps our immune systems. PLEASE everyone on this chat board need to give this drug a chance, it's cheap and it has zero side effects!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear you just got diagnosed. It is so stressing. Stress does make it worse. I'm quite a bit older than you & just got a lupus diagnosis after 20 years of being in pain!
Hang in there sweetie & ask for & accept any help you can get.   (((gentle hugs)))
