Taffy try for SSDI. What could it hurt if your eyes are really bad you could be legally blind and not know it or your eyes could be so bad there is no way you could work.

I am very concerned about you and others who have Obamacare care and I worry that it will be take away and nothing put in its place or if something is put in its place it will be to expensive for people to afford.

Please don't worry about what was deleted. It wasn't much and there really wasn't any valuable information.

My husband sugguested something to me this morning because he knows how I worry about you guys. He said write your senators and congressmen . write them 10 letters if need be but let them hear you and what takeing away Obamacare would do to you.

Lupus does not get the recognition it deserves because no one wants to talk about it or they don't really know what lupus is. Be a voice for lupus. It starts with us

Taffy I do appreciate you updating people on what's going on with Obamacare. You seem to know what's going on I get frustrated.

Also it does not hurt to try to SSDI. You paid into it. But I would not try without an attorney. the attorney office I used is

Crowe Paradis & Albren, LLC
101 Edgewater Drive Suite 260
Wakefield Massachusetts 01880.
Their toll free number is 877-261-1947
Local 781 246-8975
Fax 781-246-9344
http://www.croweparadis.com

This company was great. The SSDI doctor told me I would be approved in December when I saw him. Much to my surprise I got a denial letter in January when I told my Long Term Disability they said that was normal and contacted the above attorney for me. They mailed me paper work that I filled out and mailed back. On Presidents Day in February they called me to go over the paperwork once that was done they resubmitted my paperwork. I had my back pay mid March.

They do not get paid unless they win. Everything can be done over the phone or email. It's worth a shot.

If you did get SSDI you would get Medicare within a year if not sooner. If you feel bad about doing it don't. There are a lot of people who are not as sick has you that get it. There are also people who are not US citizens who also get it.

Please think about it.

Hugs

Thank you for that very valuable information, Cake. I'm going to keep it handy for when I get past my stubborn pride.  And thank you, too, for reminding us to contact our members of Congress. I contacted mine awhile back. They're all Democrats and so already have their minds made up, but I figured it didn't hurt to speak up. Actually, I think Congress' job would be easier if we Americans knew what we wanted, but you have some people who want a single-payer system like Canada has, some who want Obamacare, and a privileged few who have such great health insurance through their employers, they want to go back to the olden days.

One good thing is that the entire House of Representatives is up for re-election every two years, so those reps are aware if they mess this up, the public won't forget before reelection.

I'm very grateful that I moved to a state that not only expanded Medicare but truly cares about the people who live here.

But most of all, I'm grateful for everyone on this Board. I'd really be sunk without all of you, especially you, Cake.

Thanks Taffy.

When I worked I had awsome insurance it's what got me through my last pregnancy. Without it I don't know how we would have paid for everything and when I crashed from lupus and spent the year in an out of the hospital. That would have been real costly and I think people who work and have good insurance forget about those that don't.

Writeing letters and just letting them know what you are facing helps them put a face to what they need to fight for if that makes sense.

Taffy Bun is right. Sometimes you have to swollaw your pride. It doesn't hurt to apply. Also you moved to a completely different state who knew how your body would react?
Lupus is fickle one day you can be feeling fine the next day not so well.

Think about it. You paid into it all of these years and you would only be on it a few years until you retirement age.

This could help you in more ways then one

ok.  enough of this nonsense.

You got called out on being sneaky as it was a 100% accurate claim.  Late last night, it seems you tried to mitigate your "i don't know what happened" excuse and concocted an email.  It amazes me that you have the audacity to blame the moderator.

You have posted requesting information regarding renal issues.  Rest assured, none of us would dream of monopolizing your thread, like you have CupCake's thread.  (sorry Taffy & Cake)

"this site is for us w/lupus"  You are 100% correct.  WE have Lupus.

However, that does not give you carte blanche to consistently direct conversations back to yourself.

Mr.Bun, I guess you did not read the e-mails I put up. Do you honestly think I was sneaky. There would be no purpose to gain. I was showing you what happened when I was deleted which, was at my request but did not know they did....Why did you three suddenly attacked me because I showed up as a new member??! What was your motive. It's hard to ignore all of your insults/motives. Mr bun Cakelady robin did I ever say any harsh words, make fun of you? My membership will be deleted for good. You won this battle!!!!!! I have better things to do then get in the middle of your hurtful remakes.

You didn't leave it alone. You are the one that posted all this stuff (and then deleted). Don't blame me.

Please you (Sky) got upset when we asked you in this thread not to post political stuff I even sugguested you start your own thread. Then you went on this thing about posting stuff then deleting your post and I think you even lectured us about chit chat.

The moderator would not have deleted your membership if you had not asked him to. To play it off like you didn't ask him is wrong He only did what you asked him to do.

If you choose to stay fine if you don't fine to just don't lie

Blaming - The practice of identifying a person or people responsible for creating a problem, rather than identifying ways of dealing with the problem.

False Accusations - Patterns of unwarranted or exaggerated criticism directed towards someone else.

Manipulation - The practice of steering an individual into a desired behavior for the purpose of achieving a hidden personal goal.

"Not My Fault" Syndrome - The practice of avoiding personal responsibility for one's own words and actions.

Sabotage - The spontaneous disruption of calm or status quo in order to serve a personal interest, provoke a conflict or draw attention.

Honestly it keeps being brought up because you keep doing the same things post delete post delete it makes others not not want to post.

You also say you are to sick for these games well honey I AM very sick and I am not having a good day thanks to lupus. So once again START YOUR OWN THREAD. This thread is about Obamacare it is not a thread for you to play your little games in
