"The active ingredients of cannabis that are believed to have therapeutic effects are called cannabinoids. They include compounds such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabinol (CBN). Although the mechanisms aren’t entirely clear, it’s believed cannabinoids work by binding to receptors found in the body."

I have noticed that on a day when I don't take my high CBD marijuana then my myoclonus is way worse.

Shutterbug have you read prop 64 ( I think that's it) about making it legal for everyone

Haven't read it but I think that they ought to legalize it and treat it like alcohol. There are far more health benefits to marijuana than there is to alcohol.

Does anyone have any experience with Marinol?  It's in my fridge, but I am too scared to try it until I have back-up childcare for my kids (in case there are weird side effects)...

Good idea to have someone there with you before trying any new drug

I kinda of agree I just don't agree with some of the stuff that will happen if it passes. Like the advertising. It's been 40 years since cigarette ads have been on TV this will allow advertising so to will show people smoking for example. It could have been worded or done better.

My late husband was on Marinol to help increase his appetite. I believe it's a derivative of marijuana but without the THC levels that might impair or make you "high".

Tried a new dispensary while I was out of town and discovered an extremely high CBD strain that a man bred up for his son with seizures. I bought some of the bud for my vaporizer and was quite pleased. No high feeling and got the needed pain relief. Will see if it helps with my myoclonus as well. Here is an article that I found about it. Hope that those that suffer from seizures try it and get relief.
