Ugh. Three days in a row! I hate all that waiting, first in the waiting room with old copies of Field and Stream, then in the exam room, where I find myself studying the diplomas (At least he graduated, right? But how good is the Doctor Seuss School of Medicine really?), the otoscope hanging on the wall, and brochures with titles like, "Goiters and You" or "Your Aging Pancreas." And it's not as if you're waiting for something exciting like an amusement park ride, though that might make the exam table a lot more fun :"Keep your hands inside the ride at all times!"

Three days of that and I'd need a shrink. Hang in there, Cake.

It got batter last night late night phone call from my brother in law who needs a ride to chemo. What could I say ? Then he called at like 6 am. So I had to run him to chemo but my other brother in law and sister in law picked him up and dropped him off at my house just for me to take him to the hospital.

I know what your thinking why didn't they just drop him off at chemo why bring me into the picture. The reason my brother in law had a doctors appointment (he needs a new kidney) and needed his vehicle. The brother in law having chemo refused to let his sister drive his car and you can't blame him. She has parkensens and should not be driving she's wrecked 2 cars at least. I was hoping she wasn't going to ask to go for the ride. She did ask him if she wanted him to go with him and he said NO. (Hope this is making sense).

I get back home (which included going over a bridge) dropped some stuff at the shealter picked up some stuff to go with dinner then home. I am not leaving the house tomorrow

Please don't. You're wearing yourself ragged, and we don't want you paying the price.

Good Lord Cakelady I wish you the best of luck. For heaven's sake DO NOT catch the flu, I did and am on 7th day. I have never been so sick in my life, getting better but my muscles are so weak I can't stand it. The 1st two days when I coughed, I screamed at the same time because of the pain in the right side of my chest or lung(don't know which, think it was the stuff in my lung). Please all of you be careful, the flu is very nasty this year. Good luck to you Cake and best wishes for your chest pain diagnosis.

I was hoping she would have let someone know by now. But maybe she was just totally worn out and just went to sleep when she got home.
