Actually going today to get one! Or at least look. Everything at the Harley shop is sooooo expensive! I at least want to try some on and figure out what size I am. Maybe find something less expensive online.

I bought mine at Walmart. Stuck a Harley sticker on the back. There are a lot of places on line you can get a good helmet.

OMG!!!! No!!!
But I did figure out I am most likely a medium so I am going to shop online. That store is crazy money. [crazy] It would be one thing if I knew this was going to work out okay, but since I don't know, I am going to get something a tad less expensive.

Make sure it has a good rating. I have seen to many heads be stitched up after a motorcycle accident.

Just be careful

love ya

Well, considering I never wore one before and the only reason I will get one is because of STUPID LUPUS I am not too concerned about ratings. I know it is the smart thing to wear one, but they suck. ha ha ha

They suck but they will keep your brains in your stubborn head if you get into an accident

Wow very few guys on here.  Well you can add me to the list.

Like Tmose I don't really have many issues with the sun.  I burn very easily but its hard to tell what other negative side effects it has on me.  I regularly mountain bike or run in 85+ degree sunny days without much issue.  I am always whooped afterwards but I am exercising and getting older so I kind of attribute it to that.

Male here also. I used to mountain bike but had to stop 5 years ago. Severe fatigue. I really miss it.

Haven't seen any men in awhile but I am here!  Partially diagnosed?  Female rheumy will not diagnose me although I have had positive ANA documented since 2003 when My Charts started.  I never paid any attention because the Dr. never mentioned anything and every time I would go to the Doctor I had infection not for a week or two but how about last August until January then after a senior flu shot, had the flu in spring for a solid week that kept me home from work.  CRP high nothing was said.  All the while on one anti-biotic after another.  Malignant melanoma in 2008, Prostate cancer 2010.  Now red blood cells moderately low hematocrit and hemoglobin low.  Been on Plaquenil since late July 2016.  Feel no better in fact have most of the side effects.  Told Dr. I awake with sever joint/hip pain and told her I took half a Percocet all she could do was warn me to be careful of that drug.  I am well aware and see a pain management Dr.  since I wans never diagnosed and thought I was losing my mind.  I could not even go to the mall with my wife.  I was working full time and contributed it to my age 65 and exhaustion.  I have since cut back to 4 half day and off on Fridays reluctantly agreed upon by employer.  Since I will be 66 in October I am going to retire. I do have a friend who wants me to help him 2 days in his landscape business doing the books.  Anyway I do not look my age and am always told but you look so healthy! Wrong!  Hate that.  So men write away I need a friend with similar issue.  Sometimes I feel that since I am male there is a bit of discrimination or in the least no panic by the Rheumy.  Looking forward to hear from men and women!!
